Mr. M. Akhtar Bawany has been on the Board of Pakistan Services Limited (PSL) for the last Eighteen years. He is a business graduate and Fellow Member of the Institute of Corporate Secretaries of Pakistan as well as Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Pakistan. He has been associated with the Hashoo Group for more than four decades and has served in different senior management positions. During the initial tenure of his association with Group, he also served as Financial Controller of Islamabad Marriott Hotel, an operating unit of Hashwani Hotels Limited (HHL), a Group Company. Prior to joining HHL, he was associated with KPMG Taseer Hadi & Company, a Chartered Accountants firm.
